SCTPscan : New tool release

SCTPscan is a new tool to scan SCTP endpoints. SCTP is a protocol like TCP with builtin support in major OS (Linux kernel 2.6, Solaris 10, FreeBSD 7, Mac OS X with kernel extension, ...). SCTP has some very interesting features (multihoming, multi-stream, resists well to Denial of Service - DoS, high performance). It's used for telecommunication backbone over IP (SS7 over IP aka SIGTRAN), Internet2 transfers, Cluster high-speed communication.

SCTPscan is like nmap for SCTP. It's released as a GPL Open Source free software.

Snap : Add easy link preview to any web page

That's what I like: when a company puts out some fine, non-intrusive technology, that gives a plus to any existing application. That's what I liked with Netvibes.com when they took all existing open interfaces (RSS, Flickr, ...) and enabled you to consolidate all this in a fine dashboard.

Now in a complete new manner, SNAP enables any website to display in DHTML a preview of external links to external websites. Just one line of HTML to insert in your web page template, and all you website will display this behaviour. Definitely cool.
